Huw’s Educational Talks

As a GB triathlete, rugby player and BBC Ultimate Hell Week finalist, Huw uses his sporting achievements to engage with young audiences in his educational talks. But he has a deeper message that transcends into all walks of life. In his inspirational talks, he emphasises the importance of taking control, ignoring the nay-sayers, aiming for the stars and to back it all up with hard work.

Huw went from being a dyslexic 15 year old who had never read a book, to achieving a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, becoming a university lecturer and a professional sports writer. From writing assembly manuals for Jet-Packs to recalling his ridiculous sporting adventures for various UK magazines; the educational speaker has overcome adversity and has truly conquered his weaknesses. He aims to inspire others to do the same.
